Origin story
Beanalli Coffee was born in a Birmingham barbershop — not a boardroom. Between the buzz of clippers and conversation, founder Gerald Ware noticed something: the smell of fresh Arabica beans could stop a room and start a connection.
Inspired by Ethiopia's ancient coffee traditions and shaped by Gerald's fine arts background, Beanalli became more than coffee — it became a gathering place where culture, creativity, and community meet in every cup.
Today, that same spirit drives us to give back: supporting local youth, creating opportunity, and championing mental health awareness — one cup, one conversation at a time.
What we've been up to...
celebrating art at rojo restaurant
We' re celebrating fine art in the Birmingham area the entire month of August. Come to ROJO restaurant on 2921 Highland Ave B,ham Al,a 35205 and enjoy the fine art created by Gerald Ware (CEO of Beanalli Coffee.) He attended The Alabama School of Fine Art as a youth and has always stuck by his creative roots. We believe the children are the future and the future is creative so if you are an artist Beanalli would love to showcase your art at our Birmingham location as well.
