Origin story
In the heart of Birmingham, nestled within the vibrant hum of a local barbershop, the journey of Beanalli Coffee began. It was here, among the buzz of conversation and the snip of scissors, that the rich, robust aroma of freshly roasted Arabica beans first captivated the senses of the community. Gerald Ware, the visionary behind Beanalli Coffee, saw more than just beans; he saw an opportunity to weave the fabric of community around the shared love for coffee. With up to 100lbs of premium coffee radiating warmth throughout the space, Gerald's initiative was more than a business—it was a beacon of cultural heritage and communal spirit.
Drawing inspiration from the ancient coffee traditions of Ethiopia, Beanalli Coffee's mission extends beyond the mere consumption of coffee. It is a celebration of its rich, storied past and a commitment to sharing this legacy with the world. Gerald, an alumnus of The Alabama School of Fine Arts, infused his passion for the arts into the very essence of Beanalli, fostering a space where coffee and creativity flourish together.
Our dedication to the Birmingham community is unwavering, particularly in supporting the city's youth. Through our active participation in the World Games at the Uptown District, we aim to empower the next generation, offering them opportunities to grow and thrive. We' re celebrating fine art in the Birmingham area the entire month of August. Come to ROJO restaurant on 2921 Highland Ave B,ham Al,a 35205 and enjoy the fine art created by Gerald Ware (CEO of Beanalli Coffee.) He attended The Alabama School of Fine Art as a youth and has always stuck by his creative roots. We believe the children are the future and the future is creative so if you are an artist Beanalli would love to showcase your art at our Birmingham location as well.
